When using Microsoft SQL Server Import and Export Wizard you might get this error when attempting to import an XLSX file:

The operation could not be completed.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine. (System.Data)
BUTTONS:
OK
This is because the default wizard is launches the 32 bit version.
Simply open the 64 but version from the Start menu (search “import”)
